3 Tips to Get Dry & Eczema Skin Summer Ready

Oh the joys of summer weather, wearing sandals, cute dresses, tank tops and swimsuits with a lovely side of dry, flaky, scaly skin. Not cute, but there is a quick and easy remedy to this so you can get back to feeling confident in your own skin this summer! These tips are Dermatologist approved too.

#1 Soap.

The first thing you want to pay attention to is the soap you use to wash your hands and bathe with. How does it make your skin feel? Tight, dry or itchy? In that case an easy swap is to start using one of the Moisturizing Bar Soaps to gently cleanse skin and remoisturize skin with each use. Not only do they look pretty, but they have a light and fresh smell thanks to the essential oils (no fragrances here).

#2 Moisturizing Scrub.

Now there are a lot of bad exfoliators, and scrubs out there. Some that are so oily you can't hardly get it out of the jar without spilling it everywhere, salt scrubs that sting dry, cracked skin or ones that leave your skin feeling tight and desperate for lotion after use. But have you tried a sugar scrub paired with the perfect amount of organic coconut oil, so that it removes dull, dry, flaking skin and moisturizes at the same time? It's pure magic, and they're called, Moisturizing Exfoliators. Again, lightly scented (no perfume trails here) but enough to make you feel like your getting a spa treatment in your own home. #swoon For best results use daily, from your head-to-your-toes.

Pro Tip: On extra dry, cracked or peeling heals use a pumice stone with the Moisturizing Exfoliator, sit on the edge of the tub and scrub away, rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. You'll transform the look of your feet in no time, with consistent daily use.

 #3 Face & Body Creme.

This creme is pure magic how it calms dry, itchy skin even from eczema and as an added bonus it helps plump fine lines and gives the skin a youthful glow with one use. Preferred areas to use this creme are on the face (no it won't clog your pores if you're using it only with the Moisturizing Exfoliator), neck, décolletage, hands, elbows, knees and swipe some for your feet too if they need a little extra TLC. For best results, use at least once daily, twice is best.

That's it! Follow this regimen daily to feel and see results fast, heck even your friends will ask what your secret is to your soft, glowing skin.

Order the exclusive CAPRI scent in the Moisturizing Sugar Scrub from Jessica Rey and grab a chic swimsuit (inspired by Audrey Hepburn) to start your summer off right!
